ACCOMMODATION

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Courtyard by Marriot. You can make a reservation online or call the hotel directly at (559) 221-6000 or (800) 321-2211 (US only).  The conference rate is $94/night for single king-size bed (excluding taxes) and $104/night for double queen-size bed, depending on availability. Please make your reservations BEFORE the cutoff date of Thursday, 2/21/2013, to receive the discounted group rate.

There will be a complimentary room at the hotel available for meetings, working with co-authors etc from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on March 15 and 16. Ask the receptionists to direct you to the "Sequoia Room".

Unfortunately, there is no complimenrary shuttle to the conference. The conference venue is within walking distance, but feel free to call a taxi at your expense if you cannot walk long distances.

TRAVEL
From FAT airport in Fresno, take a taxi to the Courtyard by Marriot on 140 E. Shaw Ave, Fresno, CA 93710.  If you are driving to the Hotel, follow the Google directions from FAT airport to 140 E. Shaw Ave, Fresno, CA 93710. If you are driving to the conference site (UC Merced Center, Fresno, 550 E.
